He is a hardworking and dedicated Legal Practitioner. He established Mataka Legal Practice in January 2018 coming from J. Mambara and Partners where he was a Legal Practitioner/Head Conveyancer from January 2008 to December 2017.
A Legal Practitioner of good repute duly registered with the Law Society of Zimbabwe. Having over 7 years’ experience in the field, very energetic and efficient coupled with professionalism. He joined Mataka Legal Practice in January 2018 as a partner and heads the Litigation Department and is a specialist in both civil and criminal matters, arbitration, labour and empowerment laws, intellectual property, immigration as well as all the other facets of law. Prior to joining the current firm, he was a Partner and Legal Practitioner at Mageza and Nyamwanza Legal Practitioners from June 2012 to December 2017. He also worked at J. Mambara and Partners as a Legal Practitioner from January 2010 to May 2012. He was once a legal advisor to the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee for Mines and Energy, Regional Integration and International Trade and also Education Sports, Arts and Culture. He is also director for Peltford (Pvt) Ltd, a company which specializes in Land Developing.
She is a Legal Practitioner who is determined and courageous, her ascendancy to becoming a lawyer is a clear testimony of these attributes. She joined Mataka Legal Practice at its inception in January 2018 coming from Mangezi and Partners where she was working as a Legal Practitioner, Administrator and Conveyancing Assistant from November 2015 until December 2017. She also held a similar position at J. Mambara and Partners as from November 2013 until October 2015. She also worked as a Debt Collector cum Legal Secretary at Cheda & Partners from July 2001 until September 2003. In October 2003, she joined Legal Resources Foundation Bulawayo as a Legal Secretary and left in October 2006 to join Helfer & Company Attorneys in Gaborone, Botswana where she held the same position until May 2011.
She then joined LGR Incorporated in Pretoria, South Africa where she also worked as a Senior Legal Secretary and Foreclosures Secretary from July 2011 until November 2012 when she had completed her LLB Degree studies with Unisa. She is responsible for the firm management, business correspondences, recruitment and conveyancing department which attends to transfers, bond registrations, administration of deceased estates, notarial bonds and notarial deeds of trusts, agreements of sale, company registrations, updates of company statutory returns, company law and company secretarial practice.
